Filip Hrgovic does not believe Moses Itauma belongs among the five best active heavyweights ahead of their vacant IBF title fight on August 29 at The O2 in London.

Hrgovic enters as the underdog but has rebuilt well since his 2024 loss to Daniel Dubois, recording wins over Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and David Allen.

Asked to name his current top five heavyweights, the Croatian placed Oleksandr Usyk first, followed by Dubois, Agit Kabayel, himself and Tyson Fury.

“Usyk, number one, definitely. Number two, Dubois. Number three, Agit Kabayel. Number four, myself. Number five, Tyson Fury,” Hrgovic said.

He explained that the list was based mainly on achievements, although he also insisted he believes he is capable of beating every fighter he named.
