In an electrifying rematch held in Lazio, Tivoli, Italy, former WBC International Silver Featherweight champion Francesco Grandelli (16-2-2, 3 KOs) was fighting against the undefeated EBU European Feather champion Mauro Forte (18-0-2, 8 KOs). Promoted by Alessandro Cherchi and broadcasted on ESPN+, this main event saw Forte avenge their November 2021 draw. The co-main event saw EBU European Super Flyweight champion Stephanie Silva (7-1, 0 KOs) squaring off against EBU European Bantamweight champion Mailys Gangloff (9-3, 2 KOs) over 10 rounds.

As a result, Grandelli was knocked down in the first round, but managed to beat the count. However, referee Vincent Dupas waved the fight off, bringing it to a sudden end. Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Silva lost to Gangloff after an intense 10 rounds, with scores of 97-93 and 96-94 twice, under the watchful eye of referee Brahim Ait Aadi.

In the undercard, bantamweight Simona Salvatori (8-1, 2 KOs) faced Johanna Wonyou (9-0, 2 KOs) for the vacant EBU title. Wonyou dominated the fight, securing victory over Salvatori with scores of 100-90, 99-91, and 98-92.

The event also showcased a super lightweight clash between Armando “La Fluria del Quadraro” Casamonica (10-0, 2 KOs) and Francesco Acatullo (13-12-3, 4 KOs). Casamonica stopped Acatullo in the second round of the scheduled eight-round fight. Acatullo was knocked down in the first round, but it was called a slip. In the second round, Acatullo went down again and managed to beat the count, but the towel was thrown in, bringing the fight to a conclusion.
