An amazing boxing event took place on Saturday night in the Toyota Center in Ontario, California, where in the main event Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa (24-1-1, 18 KOs) met with Mark Magsayo (24-2, 16 KOs).

Eventually, Brandon Figueroa upset former WBC 126-lb champion Mark Magsayo by a 12-round unanimous decision to win the interim WBC featherweight championship.

The 27-year-old Magsayo received two holding penalties in rounds eight and eleven. With Magsayo continuously hitting the ground from tiredness and the consequences of Figueroa's devastating body punches, the referee seemed to miss at least three knockdowns. 117-109, 117-109, and 118-108 were the final scores.

Hurd, 32, was suffering from a cut lip when the fight was stopped by the referee, but he had already taken a serious beating by the seventh round and looked done
