MF Pro president Amer Abdallah says Viddal Riley has several options for his next fight after winning the EBU European cruiserweight title with a career-best performance against Mateusz Masternak.

Riley is being considered for an EBU title defense, an IBF route, and a WBC opportunity, with Abdallah saying negotiations are ongoing across multiple directions. “Viddal has got a lot of options,” Abdallah said. “He is in a great position where he has got some options and he has some choices to make.”

MF Pro is targeting a London headline slot for Riley in late summer or early fall. Abdallah believes the cruiserweight has earned that position after his strong showing on the Deontay Wilder vs. Derek Chisora card. “I think that Viddal is going to be a future superstar in boxing,” he said.

The company will also stage its first U.S. event on June 19 in Long Beach, headlined by Ashton Sylve vs. JoJo Diaz. Abdallah said the card will feature names such as Amir Anderson and David Lopez, with a possible surprise addition also being considered.

Away from MF Pro, Abdallah said Badou Jack still has one or two fights left and deserves more respect for his résumé. He noted that Jack, not David Benavidez, had already won world titles at 168, 175 and cruiserweight.

Abdallah also addressed the possibility of Mike Tyson vs. Floyd Mayweather, saying an agreement had been in place but that he is unsure of its current status. Mayweather is now scheduled for an exhibition with Mike Zambidis and a later rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
