On Thursday, at the Place Bell in Laval, Quebec, Canada, in the main event, Jean Pascal (36-7-1, 20 KOs) faced off against Michael “Diesel” Eifert (12-1, 4 KOs).
As a result, the fight lasted for 12 rounds, and Eifert emerged as the winner, bringing him one step closer to the IBF world title.
Eifert dominated most of the fight with effective jabs and occasional rights to Pascal's chin. Pascal had some moments in the third, fourth, seventh, and twelfth rounds, but Eifert controlled the overall fight, outworking Pascal as he tired. Referee Martin Forest had an easy night.
In the co-main event, Mathieu “G-Time” Germain (22-2-1, 9 KOs) secured a narrow victory over Steven Wilcox (24-3-1, 7 KOs) to claim the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Light title.
In the undercard, super light Jessica “The Cobra” Camara (10-4, 2 KOs) was stopped by Karla Ramos Zamora (10-9-1, 3 KOs) in the fourth round, 2016 Olympian Joseph “Mighty” Ward (9-1, 4 KOs) stopped Mario Andrade Rodriguez (7-1, 4 KOs) at 1:31 of the first round, Caroline Veyre (2-0, 0 KOs) defeated feather champ of France Anaelle Angerville (5-2-1, 0 KOs), Amada Galle (8-0-1, 1 KOs) defeated Lorena “Coyota” Cruz (4-3, 0 KOs) and Yoel “The Italian Sensation” Angeloni (2-0, 1 KOs) stopped Alexander Calixto (1-2, 1 KOs).
