Ukrainian featherweight contender Arnold Khegai has inked a multi-fight deal with Top Rank. Khegai, who tops the WBO featherweight rankings and stands third in the IBF’s list, is slated to make his summer return.

“Arnold Khegai is among the world's elite featherweights deserving a shot at proving his mettle at the championship tier,” stated Top Rank's Bob Arum. Khegai, thrilled about the partnership, mentioned, “This is a significant leap in my career. I'm all set to contend for the belts and reveal my prowess to the globe.”

Sam Katkovski, Khegai’s manager, praises his dedication and skill, foreseeing him as Ukraine's next boxing sensation following Usyk and Lomachenko's legacy. “Top Rank’s opportunity is greatly appreciated,” he added.

Originating from Lymanske, Ukraine, with Korean heritage, Khegai ventured into combat sports as a youth to aid his family. Excelling in Thai boxing as a two-time world champion and clinching the Ukrainian national amateur boxing title led him to turn pro in 2015 as a junior featherweight, with his initial bouts in Russia. His journey included a split draw against Yerzhan Zalilov in 2016, but after his U.S. debut victory over Adam Lopez and several wins, he faced a hiccup against Stephen Fulton. Recently ascending to featherweight, he boasts a 5-0 record with 3 KOs, highlighting his unanimous victory over Eduardo Baez.
