The IBF has withdrawn sanctioning for Opetaia’s fight with Brandon Glanton after it was announced that the bout would also be for the new Zuffa Boxing cruiserweight title. Since Zuffa is not recognized by the IBF, the organization ruled that if Opetaia fights, the contest will be unsanctioned and the IBF title becomes vacant.
