Shakur Stevenson is reportedly close to signing with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, a move that would give the new promotion one of boxing’s top pound-for-pound talents.

The unified junior welterweight champion is coming off a major win over Teofimo Lopez, where he captured the WBO and Ring Magazine titles. If the deal is finalized, Stevenson would join a growing Zuffa roster that already includes names such as Conor Benn, Jai Opetaia and Richardson Hitchins.

Chris Mannix reported that Stevenson is finalizing the move, adding to months of speculation around Zuffa’s interest. Previous rumors suggested a possible three-fight deal worth $60 million, though exact terms have not been confirmed.

Stevenson has already shown interest in major financial opportunities, saying that if $60 million was being offered, he was ready to take the call. With Zuffa backed by Turki Alalshikh and TKO, the promotion appears willing to spend heavily to attract elite fighters.

The move could open the door to major in-house matchups, including a possible fight with Conor Benn or a meeting with former rival Richardson Hitchins. Stevenson has also mentioned interest in returning to 135 pounds to face IBF champion Raymond Muratalla.

For now, the deal is not official, but Stevenson joining Zuffa would be undeniably a major statement.
