Shakur Stevenson is set to face Floyd Schofield on February 22 in Riyadh, but he already has a clear path to a second fight if he wins. According to Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn, an agreement is in place for Stevenson to meet William Zepeda immediately afterward, with May being the target date.

Zepeda was initially set to fight Stevenson, but suffered a hand injury during his victory over Tevin Farmer. That opened the door for Schofield to step in for the February 22 date. Should Stevenson take care of business, he’ll then move on to face the Mexico-based knockout artist in a high-stakes lightweight clash.

Stevenson’s two-fight contract with Matchroom also includes an option for an extension, and Hearn hopes a showdown with Gervonta “Tank” Davis will materialize later in 2025. Davis, who meets Lamont Roach on March 1, is tied to Premier Boxing Champions and Amazon Prime Video, which could complicate cross-promotional negotiations. Still, Hearn envisions a three-fight plan for Stevenson: Schofield, then Zepeda, and possibly “Tank” if all sides can come together.
