Sergio Mora believes Conor Benn’s aggressive style is tailor-made for Ryan Garcia ahead of their WBC welterweight title fight on September 12 in Las Vegas.

The former WBC junior middleweight champion expects Garcia’s size, speed, power and longer frame to give him a decisive advantage over the British challenger.

“I don’t think Conor Benn is able to handle the speed and the power and the longer frame of Ryan Garcia,” Mora said. “I think that fight ends in knockout.”

Mora also questioned whether Benn is naturally suited to the 147lb division, arguing that his punching power has been less effective as he has moved up in weight.

According to Mora, Benn’s tendency to square up while attacking could leave him vulnerable to Garcia’s left hook and uppercuts.

“Conor Benn squares up when he misses punches,” Mora said. “That’s a recipe for disaster. I think Conor Benn is tailor-made for Ryan Garcia.”
