Las Vegas hosted another Zuffa Boxing event at the Meta Apex, featuring a mix of unbeaten prospects, experienced fighters, and competitive matchups across multiple divisions.
In the main event, Andres Cortes faced Eridson Garcia over ten rounds. Cortes controlled the fight with steady volume and cleaner combinations, preventing Garcia from building momentum with pressure. After ten rounds, Cortes won by unanimous decision with scores of 98-92, 97-93, and 96-94.
In the co-main event, Mark Magsayo stopped Feargal McCrory in the fifth round of their lightweight bout. Magsayo set the tone early, landing strong right hands and breaking McCrory down with pressure and body work before the referee stepped in at 0:21 of the round.
At featherweight, Azat Hovhannisyan earned a majority decision over Eduardo Baez in a competitive ten-round fight. Hovhannisyan’s pressure and heavier shots gave him the edge on two scorecards, while one judge scored it even.
On the prelims, Alexis De la Cerda scored a third-round knockout over Ervin Fuller III, landing a clean right hook that ended the fight at 2:33 of the round. The bout had been competitive before the finish.
Elsewhere, Tony Hirsch Jr. defeated Robert Meriwether III by majority decision in a close lightweight fight, while Troy Nash won a majority decision over Bryan Rodriguez to open the card.
