On Thursday, a night of boxing featured several fights in different weight classes with a mix of established fighters and rising stars. In the main event WBA International and Continental Americas Super Middleweight champion Christian “Solide” Mbilli (24-0, 20 KOs) fought against IBO champion Carlos Gongora (21-2, 16 KOs).

As a result, Christian “Solide” Mbilli successfully defended his titles in a ten-round fight. Although the first round was close, Gongora had the upper hand. However, Mbilli gained momentum in the following rounds and hurt Gongora with body shots. The fight ended in a unanimous decision in favor of Mbilli with scores of 97-93, 98-92, and 99-91.
