British heavyweight Frazer Clarke has confirmed that a rematch with British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley is officially on. The two fighters previously met in a thrilling contest in March, which ended in a draw, leaving fans clamoring for a second showdown.
The British Boxing Board of Control recently announced that an agreement had been reached for the rematch, and Clarke has now spoken out, confirming the news. Speaking to Sky Sports News, Clarke said, "It’s agreed and it’s on. I’m always getting asked on the street, ‘When is the rematch happening?’ I can’t give that information yet, but we are back on and you’ll get the news very soon."
While the date and location for the rematch have not been officially confirmed, there is speculation that the fight could take place on the undercard of the highly anticipated Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol bout on October 12 in Saudi Arabia. This would place the fight on a massive stage, adding even more excitement to the already highly anticipated rematch.

Clarke, now 33, is determined to make a statement in the rematch. Reflecting on their first encounter, he said, "There’s room for improvement which I know now, but I’ve had more experience; I believe in myself a lot more. I’m full of confidence and I’m going in there to do one job, and that’s to knock Fabio Wardley out."
With both fighters unbeaten and eager to settle the score, the rematch between Clarke and Wardley promises to be a must-watch event. Clarke, brimming with confidence, has made it clear that this time, he’s not just aiming for a win—he’s aiming for a knockout.
"So winning won’t be enough for me this time. I want to put a real job on, but it’s going to be a tough task – just like the first one. May the best man win, but I’m backing myself big time on this one."
