Ivan Redkach (23-6-1, 18 KOs) from Ukraine will compete in the welterweight division against Adrien Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs), a former world champion in four weight classes. The match is scheduled for February 18 in Atlanta, USA.

Also in an interview, Adrian expressed a desire to fight Prograis for the WBO title: “I thought about it and decided that let Prograis become world champion first, and then we can fight. He fulfilled his part of the agreement, now I must fulfill mine, and then we'll talk. After the fight with Redkach, I'm going to take the WBO world title from Prograis. But first I have to do my business with the Ukrainian.”

Note, that Ukrainian Ivan Redkach was defeated by Prograis in the spring of 2021, this was the sixth defeat in his career and after that, the 36-year-old Ukrainian did not return to the ring.

Adrien Broner lost to Manny Pacquiao in January 2019 and then had only one fight, which he won on points against Giovanni Santiago in 2021.
