Under the bright lights of the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, a shift in the cruiserweight division unfolded.
Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez (46-1, 30 KOs), previously crowned WBO Super Middleweight champion, masterfully claimed the WBA World Cruiserweight title from Arsen “Feroz” Goulamirian (27-1, 19 KOs). Ramirez’s meticulously dismantled Goulamirian, leading to a unanimous victory that left no doubts with a 118-110 score from all judges.

The co-main event also delivered drama, with Alexis “Lex” Rocha (24-2, 16 KOs) fighting against Fredrick “General Okunka” Lawson (30-5, 22 KOs). Rocha's combination of agility and power cornered Lawson to the point of no return. The relentless barrage forced Lawson's corner to call off the fight before the eighth round could begin.
In a flyweight rematch, Ricardo “El Nino” Rafael Sandoval (24-2, 17 KOs) avenged his previous encounter against Carlos “Chocorroncito” Buitrago (38-13-1, 22 KOs). The battle was fiercely contested in the early rounds, but it eventually culminated in a stoppage on medical advice by the eighth round in favor of Sandoval.
Santiago “Somer” Dominguez (27-0, 20 KOs) and Jose “Guerro” Luis Sanchez (14-4-1, 4 KOs) delivered a wonderful welterweight contest. Dominguez employed effective body punches early on, but Sanchez’s comeback in the later rounds challenged Dominguez's lead, making for a nail-biting finish that saw Dominguez edge out a split decision victory.
Kicking off the evening, Joel Iriarte (2-0, 2 KOs) delivered a commanding performance against Kevin “Pachuco” Aguirre (5-3, 2 KOs).
