Vasiliy Lomachenko has been offered a world title fight for his potential return, with WBC super featherweight champion O’Shaquie Foster calling out the Ukrainian legend.

Lomachenko retired after defeating George Kambosos in May 2024 to win the vacant IBF lightweight title, ending a career that had already seen him become a three-weight world champion. Earlier this year, however, it was revealed that the 38-year-old plans to return to boxing.

Foster has now made it clear he would welcome Lomachenko back at 130lbs and put his WBC title on the line.

“I would give him the opportunity,” Foster said. “I can be the first one he comes to see. I’ll send him back to where he needs to be.”

Foster first won the WBC super featherweight title against Rey Vargas in February 2023. He lost the belt to Robson Conceição in July 2024, but regained it in their immediate rematch four months later.

The American last fought in May, when he defeated Ray Ford by majority decision. If Lomachenko chooses to return at super featherweight, Foster is already waiting with a title shot on the table.
