In a thrilling Friday night at the Doubletree Hotel, welterweight Louie Lopez (14-2-1, 5 KOs) squared off against Benjamin Lamptey (13-12-2, 9 KOs).

Lopez’s agility and swift body attacks were the keys to victory, reducing Lamptey’s punch output. A decisive moment came in the third round when a right cross floored Lamptey. Although Lamptey beat the count, he was dropped again by a body combination and remained down, with referee Ray Corona calling an end to the fight at 1:22.

In the co-main event, junior lightweight George Acosta (16-1, 3 KOs) scored a victory over Edy Valencia (20-12-6, 7 KOs). Acosta’s superior boxing skills and aggressive combinations kept Valencia on the defensive for most of the bout. Despite Valencia's occasional connecting punches, the fight's tide turned conclusively in the fourth round when Acosta landed a right cross that sent Valencia to the canvas. Although Valencia was able to beat the count, he decided not to continue after the fifth round, leading referee Ray Armendariz to stop the fight prior to the sixth round’s commencement.

In other bouts, middleweight Nelson Oliva (8-0, 7 KOs) triumphed over San Antonio’s Jeremaine Chico Whittington (2-2, 1 KO) in a stunning second-round knockout, while Kevin Salgado emerged victorious over Izaiah Vargas (1-7, 1 KO) in the first round of their welterweight clash. The opening bout of the event saw welterweight Esteban Munoz (7-3, 4 KOs) clinch a unanimous decision victory over Nelson Morales (4-8, 1 KO), starting the final card of Thompson Boxing off with an electrifying showdown.
