Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder are reportedly moving closer to a heavyweight showdown in March 2027, with Las Vegas currently viewed as the leading location for the fight.

According to World Boxing News, T-Mobile Arena is considered the most likely venue, although neither the date nor location has been finalized. Usyk’s team has been involved in discussions as plans continue for what could become the Ukrainian’s final professional fight.

Usyk has reportedly wanted to face Wilder for several years. The matchup remained possible after Wilder defeated Derek Chisora, while Usyk relinquished his major sanctioning-body heavyweight titles, giving him greater freedom in choosing his next opponent.

There is also speculation that the fight could take place under the Zuffa Boxing banner, potentially with the promotion’s inaugural heavyweight title at stake. Dana White previously responded “anything is possible” when asked about both Usyk competing for Zuffa and Wilder being his opponent, but no agreement has been confirmed.
