Oleksandr Usyk says his final professional fight will be against either Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder, with his farewell expected to take place in the United States.
The 39-year-old plans to box only once more before retirement after becoming undisputed champion at cruiserweight and heavyweight.
“My last dance is going to be in the USA, maybe in New York, in a stadium,” Usyk said. “It’s going to be against a big name.”
Asked which heavyweights he considers suitable opponents, Usyk named Fury and Wilder. “Big names are ‘Greedy Belly’ and Deontay Wilder,” he said. “We work about this.”
Usyk did not confirm whether the fight could take place under the Zuffa Boxing banner, explaining that his team is still working on the details while he focuses on training and spending time with his family.
