In the heart of Greenwich, London, UK, Matchroom Boxing showcased a captivating main event at the O2 Arena. Former two-time WBA, WBO, and IBF world champion Anthony “AJ” Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) stepped into the ring against late substitute Robert “The Nordic Nightmare” Helenius (32-5, 21 KOs).

Despite being a last-minute addition, Helenius used his jab efficiently in the initial rounds, causing swelling around Joshua's left eye. However, Joshua’s power came to the fore, and by the seventh round, a resounding right hand floored Helenius, bringing an abrupt end to the contest without a need for a count by Referee Victor Loughlin.

The co-main event saw Filip “El Animal” Hrgovic (16-0, 13 KOs) face off against southpaw Demsey “The Tower” McKean (22-1, 14 KOs). Throughout the bout, both warriors had their shining moments, with Hrgovic demonstrating his power, especially in the ninth. But it was in the final twelfth round that Hrgovic landed a blow which forced the referee to step in and save McKean from further punishment.

In the undercard, Derek “War” Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs) clashed with Gerald “El Gallo” Washington (20-6-1, 13 KOs) in a bout that went the full ten rounds. Both fighters engaged in a scrappy affair with frequent clinches, but Chisora's aggression appeared to sway the judges. Scores read 98-93, 97-94, 96-94, and 97-93 KH, all in favor of Chisora.

The night began with Johnny “The Romford Bull” Fisher (10-0, 9 KOs) facing off against Henry “Dirty Harry” Armstrong (5-2-1, 0 KOs) for the vacant BBBofC Southern Area title. Fisher showcased his power, sending Armstrong to the mat in the initial round. Come the seventh, another knockdown led Armstrong's corner to intervene, marking another win for the rising Fisher.
