The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao rematch has a new date - September 26 on Netflix.
The bout had previously been linked to September 19 at The Sphere in Las Vegas, but that venue is no longer available after booking an Eagles concert for the same weekend. The rematch moves away from The Sphere entirely, and instead is set to happen at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas according to Mike Coppinger.
After earlier uncertainty over whether the rematch would be an exhibition or a professional fight, one official said both camps have now agreed on all conditions. The bout is expected to count officially on both fighters’ records.
