Moses Itauma believes a future fight with Daniel Dubois is inevitable, but says the timing will likely depend on both men holding heavyweight world titles.

The unbeaten British heavyweight said he is confident he will eventually share the ring with Dubois, who is currently a world champion.

“I’m sure that fight will happen,” Itauma said. “But most likely not until I have a world title and he has one too.”

Itauma also suggested the matchup could become even bigger if both fighters collect more belts before meeting.

“Maybe by then each of us will already have two titles,” he said.

Before any fight between them can move closer, both men have major business ahead. Itauma is scheduled to face Filip Hrgovic on August 29, while Dubois could face Fabio Wardley in a rematch before the end of the year.
