The planned rematch between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has suffered another setback, with the September 19 date at the Sphere in Las Vegas now off the table.

The fight was originally announced by Netflix in February, with the streaming platform presenting it as a major comeback event for Mayweather, but the venue has now booked two Eagles concerts for that same weekend.

It remains unclear whether the fight will still happen on September 19 at another venue, move to a different date at the Sphere, or fall apart completely. Neither side nor Netflix has commented on the latest change.

The rematch has faced uncertainty from the start. Mayweather later claimed the bout was not locked in for the Sphere and said it would be an exhibition rather than a professional fight, meaning his 50-0 record would not be at risk.

Pacquiao’s side has pushed back, insisting there is a binding agreement in place. Pacquiao has also set up a training base in Los Angeles at a former Mayweather Boxing + Fitness gym.

With no confirmed venue and continued disagreement over whether the bout would be professional or exhibition, Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2 now looks increasingly uncertain.
