Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao 2 has taken another step forward, with September 25 now reserved at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on the Nevada State Athletic Commission calendar.

The reservation was made by Manny Pacquiao Promotions and marks the clearest sign yet that the long-discussed rematch is still alive. The fight has been delayed by shifting plans and public silence, especially from Mayweather’s side, but Pacquiao’s team has continued pushing the event.

The date also signals a move away from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, where Mayweather and Pacquiao first met in 2015. This time, the proposed rematch would land at T-Mobile Arena on a Friday night in Las Vegas.

There is still one major detail missing: Mayweather Promotions was not mentioned in the latest reservation. Mayweather previously said the fight should be finalized quickly, but nearly a month has passed without much public movement from him.
