Former WBA heavyweight champion Mahmoud Charr has issued a direct and provocative challenge to former world champion Tyson Fury.

Charr, who owns a professional record of 34-5 (20 KOs), addressed Fury publicly, branding himself the “Arab king” and urging the former champion to accept the fight. Charr claimed he is already on his way to the United Kingdom and called for the two sides to stop talking and finalize a contract, referencing promises Fury previously made to fans.

Previously, Fury stepped away from boxing after suffering back-to-back defeats to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Those losses appeared to close the chapter on Fury’s career at the time, before the former champion recently announced plans to return to action in 2026.
