Teofimo Lopez Jr. and George Kambosos Jr. reignited their feud on social media, sparking speculation about a possible rematch. The two fighters have been at odds since their dramatic 2021 encounter, where Kambosos handed Lopez his first career loss via split decision.

Lopez recently claimed that both Kambosos and Devin Haney had turned down “reasonable offers” to fight him. Posting on X, Lopez said, “We sent reasonable offers to fight to both Team Haney and Team Kambosos. Both have declined! If you don’t believe it, ask @trboxing and @BruceTrampler.”

Kambosos was quick to fire back, mocking Lopez’s claims and referencing their shared history. “You’re a Fugazi like I said in 2021 and like I say now in 2024,” Kambosos posted. “What reasonable offer? You don’t know anything about money, PPVs, or selling tickets. Hahaha, you fight in wedding ballrooms these days.”

Since their first fight, both men’s careers have taken different turns. Lopez moved up to 140 lbs and captured the WBO junior welterweight title, defending it successfully three times, including a dominant win over Steve Claggett. Kambosos, on the other hand, suffered back-to-back losses to Haney, losing his lightweight belts, and was recently outpointed by Vasiliy Lomachenko in May.

Adding fuel to the fire, Kambosos mocked Lopez further by referencing their infamous pre-fight media scuffle. “If you really want it, like I’ve always said, you know where to find me. Bring your daddy too, we’re already 2-0 against you clowns.”
