Liam Paro says he is open to an all-Australian title fight with George Kambosos Jr. if a unification with Devin Haney cannot be finalized.

Paro’s priority remains a welterweight unification against Haney, but his team has also discussed Kambosos as a possible opponent for early 2027.

“My goal first and foremost is unification fights,” Paro said. “I’d love to take out Devin Haney and unify the welterweight division.”

Kambosos would first need to return to winning ways and become eligible for an IBF title shot before the fight could move forward.

“If unifications aren’t on the table just yet, and the fans wanted to see an all-Aussie showdown with George Kambosos, I’m open to that too,” Paro added.
