Katie Taylor returned to Croke Park for the final fight of her career, facing unbeaten Flora Pili in front of more than 80,000 fans in Dublin. The 10-round bout gave Taylor the opportunity to add the vacant WBC light welterweight title to her WBA, IBF, WBO and Ring belts and close her career on one of the biggest stages in Irish boxing.

Taylor defeated Pili by unanimous decision, with two judges scoring the fight 100-90 and the third 98-91. Taylor controlled the center of the ring with her jab, movement and combinations, while Pili enjoyed her best moment in the seventh when she briefly forced Taylor backward. Taylor quickly regained control and finished with fast combinations as the crowd rose to salute her. The victory allowed Taylor to retire as a three-time undisputed champion, while Pili suffered her first professional defeat.
