Former undisputed super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo says he is working toward a fight with Tim Tszyu.
According to Lance Pugmire, Charlo revealed that Tszyu will be his next opponent and that the two sides are now working on a location for the fight.
Tszyu is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Errol Spence Jr. and has recently indicated plans to move permanently to middleweight. Charlo has not fought since losing to Canelo Alvarez in September 2023, when he moved up to challenge for the undisputed super middleweight title.
