Jake Paul, under his promotional banner MVP Promotions, has shifted focus from a boxing rematch with Nate Diaz to potentially facing him in mixed martial arts (MMA). After their initial boxing match in August, which Paul won, there was buzz about a rematch. However, in line with Paul's recent agreement with the MMA outfit, Professional Fighters League (PFL), the rematch may very well happen inside the MMA cage. MVP Promotions confirmed, "Jake Paul has accepted the offer from PFL to rematch in MMA in the SmartCage." Paul is even willing to offer Diaz $10 million for this MMA encounter.

Paul's trajectory in boxing has also been a rollercoaster. He faced his first professional defeat earlier this year, losing to the undefeated boxer Tommy Fury in a split decision bout. This loss has intensified their rivalry, further fueled when Paul recently witnessed Fury's victory over KSI in Manchester. KSI and Paul have had their own share of online feuds in the past.

A potential rematch between Paul and Fury seems to be on the horizon. Though Paul had the option of an immediate rematch post his loss, he opted for Diaz instead. During his bout with Diaz, Paul trained under the guidance of former boxing world champion, Shane Mosley.

Regardless of the path he chooses, be it boxing or MMA, Jake Paul continues to be a center of attention in the combat sports world. His decisions, matches, and even potential opponents are eagerly followed by fans, showcasing his undeniable influence on the current sports entertainment landscape.
