Jake Paul says he has the money ready to make a fight with Canelo Alvarez, claiming he can meet the Mexican star’s reported $200 million demand.

Canelo has not fought since losing to Terence Crawford last September in their undisputed super middleweight title fight. He has since been recovering from elbow surgery and is expected to return in September against WBC super middleweight champion Christian Mbilli in Riyadh.

Paul, however, believes a fight with Canelo remains possible and called it “the biggest fight that can possibly be made in boxing.” Speaking on a live stream, he claimed he has already spoken to Alvarez and urged him to sign the contract.

“Canelo wants 200 million. I have the 200 million dollars for you, easy money,” Paul said. “Jake Paul vs Canelo, let’s get it done.”

Paul last fought in December, when he was stopped by Anthony Joshua. He recently admitted his boxing future was uncertain after suffering a serious jaw injury, but now appears willing to return for a major fight with Canelo.

The matchup was reportedly close before the Joshua fight, but Canelo instead signed a four-fight deal with Riyadh Season. At the time, he indicated that a Paul fight could only come later, once he is finished competing at championship level.
