The 21-year-old Tucker, who has already made a name for himself with his aggressive style and willingness to take on tough opponents, is looking to continue his upward trajectory in the sport.

Tucker has faced stiff competition throughout his young career, with his last six opponents boasting a combined record of 70-10-2. After shifting between weight classes, Tucker now feels more confident than ever at middleweight, where he recently made a successful debut against Quincy LaVallais. This upcoming bout against Fernandez is yet another opportunity for Tucker to prove his mettle in the ring.

Despite Fernandez's recent split-decision loss in Quebec, Tucker is not taking his opponent lightly.

"I've studied his fights," Tucker said at Thursday's press conference. "He's got nothing. This will be a clear domination."

As he prepares for his 13th professional fight, Tucker is clear in his ambitions.

“I am the best fighter in the world. This is going to be an example, I am going to have to just prove it.”
