Moses Itauma believes WBO champion Daniel Dubois is currently the most dangerous heavyweight in boxing.

The unbeaten 21-year-old has built his own reputation as a destructive puncher, most recently stopping the usually durable Jermaine Franklin in the fifth round. Itauma now faces Filip Hrgovic on August 29 at London’s O2 Arena, with victory expected to move him significantly closer to a world title opportunity.

Asked whether he considers himself the division’s most dangerous fighter, Itauma instead selected Dubois.

“I think the most dangerous heavyweight is Daniel Dubois,” Itauma said. “You wouldn’t really want to meet him in an alleyway, would you?”

Itauma added that although he would be willing to fight Dubois, he would choose the WBO champion as his partner in a hypothetical two-against-two fight. Promoter Frank Warren is reportedly already considering a future undisputed showdown between the two British heavyweights.
