The tension is rising between lightweight fighters Keyshawn Davis and Raymond Muratalla.
Davis, who is undefeated, challenged Muratalla on the social media platform X. The 25-year-old from Norfolk, Virginia, didn't hold back, calling Muratalla "a bum" and expressing his desire to fight him within the year to prove Muratalla's shortcomings.
In Raymond's most recent fight, statistics from Compubox show that Muratalla only landed more punches than Farmer in the fight's final four rounds, with a total of 106 punches out of 481, compared to Davis' 109 out of 446. The judges favored Muratalla's higher work rate, scoring the bout 95-94, 97-92, and 96-93, with a point deduction from Farmer for holding in the eighth round.
In response to Davis's challenge, an account associated with Robert Garcia's Boxing Academy taunted Davis, inviting him to arrange the fight through Top Rank Boxing. Davis shot back confidently, stating, "Blah Blah Blah. I’m about to whoop your boy’s ass."

Both fighters have been in five 10-round bouts in their careers. Despite Davis's provocation, Muratalla previously played down a potential fight with Davis, suggesting it would be a step back, and expressing his readiness for a title shot against WBO belt holder Denys Berinchyk.
