Top Rank, the American promoter of Naoya Inoue, has announced that the unified junior featherweight championship fight between Stephen Fulton (21-0, 8 KOs) and Inoue (24-0, 11 KOs) has been rescheduled for July 25.
Originally planned to take place on May 7 in Yokohama, Japan, the fight was postponed due to Inoue's undisclosed injury sustained during training earlier this month. The 122-pound title bout will be available to stream on ESPN+ in the morning for viewers in the United States.
Inoue, currently ranked No. 2 on ESPN’s pound-for-pound boxer list, will compete against Fulton at Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
