Ryan Garcia has expressed unwavering confidence in his ability to defeat Devin Haney once again if the two were to meet in a rematch. Following their first encounter, which saw Garcia emerge victorious by majority decision earlier this year, the young star is ready to prove that his initial win was no fluke.
Garcia took to social media to respond to Haney's recent posts about a potential return to the ring.
Haney and his father, Bill, have remained tight-lipped about pursuing a rematch, with Bill evading direct questions on the topic during recent interviews. However, the financial incentive of a second fight with Garcia may push the Haney camp towards making it happen.
Garcia is currently suspended until the first quarter of next year due to testing positive for the banned substance Ostarine in their previous fight. Despite this, he maintains that his victory over Haney was legitimate and that he would triumph again under any circumstances, clean and within the weight limit.
"The King" is eager to face Haney again, believing that his speed and power will once more be too much for the undefeated champion to handle. But what do you think about it? Will we witness different results comparing to the first bout?
