Boxing fans from all over the world witnessed yesterday a night of intense matchups headlined by a super middleweight clash as Christian Mbilli faced off against former three-time world title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko.

The fight took a dramatic turn in the fourth round when Derevyanchenko suffered a left bicep injury, forcing him to rely solely on his right hand for the remainder of the bout. Despite the injury, Derevyanchenko continued to press forward, even hurting Mbilli in the seventh round. However, Mbilli took advantage of Derevyanchenko's compromised state, dominating the rest of the fight and securing a unanimous decision victory with scores of 100-90, 99-91, and 98-92. The fight was marred by Mbilli's repeated use of rabbit punches, which went unpunished by the referee.
