Tim Bradley believes Bill Haney is telling the truth about the reported $100 million deal linked to Devin Haney, insisting the money is real and that the claim should not be dismissed as hype.
Bill recently suggested that Devin could be in line for a major contract before turning 30, though he did not name the company involved, fans quickly connected the comments to Zuffa Boxing.
Bradley said he believes Bill when it comes to business, arguing that Haney has the commercial value and rivalries needed to generate that kind of money. He also suggested that names such as Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson and Gervonta Davis could all become part of the wider deal if Haney signs into a major long-term structure.
The former world champion compared the situation to previous spending waves from Matchroom and PBC, saying new players often need to overpay to attract top fighters. In Bradley’s view, Zuffa may now be willing to do the same.
Bradley believes the reported figure would likely be spread across four or five fights over the next two years, while Haney remains in his prime earning window.
For now, no official deal has been announced, but Bradley’s reaction adds weight to the growing belief that Haney could become one of the key targets in boxing’s next promotional battle.
