North America was on fire on Saturday, as the fight night events featured Jose Ramirez (28-1, 18 KOs) squaring off against Richard Commey (30-5-1, 27 KOs) and Jose Zepeda (36-3, 27 KOs) met with Neeraj Goyat (17-4-2, 7 KOs).

As a result, ex-WBC & WBO light welterweight champion Jose Ramirez triumphed over former IBF lightweight champion Richard Commey with an 11th-round knockout in a challenging WBC 140 lb title eliminator. Despite a year-long hiatus and recent subpar performances, Ramirez managed to knock down the 36-year-old Commey twice in the 11th round to secure the win.

In the co-main event, WBA champion Seniesa “Super Bad” Estrada (24-0, 9 KOs) defeated unbeaten WBC champion Tina Rupprecht (12-1-1, 3 KOs) by a unanimous decision.

In a second event, former WBC Silver super lightweight champion Jose “Chon” Zepeda won over India’s Neeraj “Gangster” Goyat in a ten-round bout. Zepeda controlled the first three rounds, keeping Goyat on the back foot. Despite Goyat’s attempts to change tactics in the fourth round and some moments of success off the ropes in the seventh, his efforts were insufficient to turn the situation around. Throughout the fight, Zepeda maintained his dominance, forcing Goyat into a defensive stance against the ropes, and ultimately sealing a one-sided win.
