Peter Fury believes unbeaten light heavyweight prospect Gradus Kraus is already ready to face the biggest names in the division. Kraus is coming off a first-round stoppage of Sean Hemphill and has now stopped all but one of his professional opponents.

Fury says he would have no hesitation putting the 25-year-old in with Artur Beterbiev or any current champion at 175 pounds.

“This kid is a monster in the ring,” Fury said. “If Ben Shalom and Mick Hennessy get him Beterbiev tomorrow, he’ll be having it for his next fight.” Fury also suggested Kraus is ready for fights with Dmitry Bivol and David Benavidez, despite the Dutchman having limited experience at world level.

Kraus is expected to return in October as his team looks to move him quickly toward the top of the light heavyweight division.
