Frank Warren has confirmed that the long-awaited clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will be a one-fight deal, with no rematch clause in place.

After years of failed negotiations, the two heavyweights are finally on course to meet later this year. But according to Warren, there will be no second chapter.

“Yes, it is a one-fight deal,” Warren said. “When they step into the ring… for the loser – that will be it. I don’t see where he will go. For the winner, it’s a choice of what he wants to do next.”

Before the showdown can take place, Joshua must first come through a scheduled bout with Kristian Prenga in July. Fury, meanwhile, is also expected to take an interim fight as preparations continue.
