Tyson Fury has drawn attention after making a drug-related joke while training alongside Joseph Parker ahead of his April 11 fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov.

In a social media clip, Fury joked: “Old Pablo J, Pablo J and Tyson Montana. Let’s go!” - a reference widely interpreted as nods to drug-related pop culture. The comments came while standing next to Parker, whose situation remains unresolved following an adverse finding linked to cocaine metabolites.

The timing has sparked interest, given Parker’s case is still pending and has not yet reached a final outcome. The New Zealander has denied knowingly taking any banned substance, but the matter remains under review.

Fury, known for his outspoken personality, has often used humor and exaggeration in promoting fights. However, his own past experience with anti-doping issues adds context to the situation.

While the remarks may have been intended as light-hearted banter, their public nature and connection to an ongoing case have led to scrutiny, especially with Parker’s status yet to be officially resolved.
