Tyson Fury has confirmed that he plans to fight again in August before moving on to the long-awaited clash with Anthony Joshua later this year.

Fury returned in April with a unanimous decision win over Arslanbek Makhmudov, his first fight since back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. That victory put him back on track for a major domestic fight with Joshua.

Speaking to FurociTV, Fury said his plan for 2026 includes three fights: April, August, and then the “big one” against Joshua in either October or November.

“My fight plan this year is three fights,” Fury said. “April, August, and whenever the big fight is announced; either October or November.”

Fury has not yet confirmed an opponent for August, but he made clear that the name does not matter much to him. “It’s never about the opponent,” he said. “It’s just about me versus me always.”
