With the WBC Silver and NABF Super 168-lb titles on the line, both fighters entered the ring determined to secure a victory. The event, which was broadcast live, also featured an exciting undercard with standout performances from Richard Torrez Jr., Emiliano Vargas, and others, adding to the evening's drama.
In the main event, Jaime Munguia stopped previously unbeaten Erik Bazinyan in the tenth round of a hard-fought battle. The fight had been evenly matched up to that point, with both fighters exchanging jabs and power punches. Bazinyan found early success in the first and second rounds, using his jab to keep Munguia at bay. However, Munguia began to gain momentum in the middle rounds, landing several significant shots, including a powerful left that stunned Bazinyan. The back-and-forth continued until the tenth round, when Munguia connected with a left to the chin followed by a chopping right to the head, dropping Bazinyan for the count at 2:36 of the round.

In the co-main event, Olympic silver medalist and heavyweight prospect Richard Torrez Jr. won by disqualification over Joey Dawejko in the fifth round of their scheduled eight-round bout. Torrez used his jab and body shots to control most of the fight, but Dawejko was disqualified after repeatedly spitting out his mouthpiece, leading the referee to call a halt to the contest.

On the undercard, super lightweight Emiliano Vargas stopped Larry Fryers in the fifth round. Vargas dominated the fight from the start, hurting Fryers with powerful shots to the head and body. In the fifth round, a left hook to the body followed by a shot to the chin sent Fryers to the canvas, and the referee waved the fight off without a count.

Super featherweight 2016 Olympian Charly Suarez knocked out Jorge Castaneda in the third round. Suarez controlled the action throughout the fight, outworking Castaneda and dropping him twice in the third round, with the second knockdown leading to a stoppage at 2:22 of the round.

Junior middleweight Jorge Garcia Perez made quick work of Ilias Essaoudi stopping him just 46 seconds into the first round. Perez countered a missed punch from Essaoudi with a right uppercut to the midsection, followed by a flurry of punches to the head that sent Essaoudi to the canvas for the full count.

Super bantamweight Sebastian Hernandez Reyes continued his knockout streak, stopping Yonfrez Parejo after four rounds. Reyes hurt Parejo several times throughout the fight and landed powerful body shots that forced Parejo's corner to call a halt after the fourth round.
In a shocking upset, lightweight Alan Garcia was knocked out by Ricardo Fernandez in the fifth round. Garcia had been controlling the fight up until that point, but a powerful overhand right from Fernandez sent Garcia to the canvas, where he was counted out at 2:25 of the round.
In other action, lightweight southpaw Demier Zamora won a unanimous decision over Gerardo Perez after eight competitive rounds. Zamora used his superior boxing skills to outwork Perez, earning scores of 80-72 twice and 79-73. Meanwhile, super flyweight Steven Navarro scored a third-round knockout over Oscar Arroyo after two knockdowns and a flurry of punches that forced the referee to stop the fight.
