Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield will face the most experienced opponent of his career on June 28 as he takes on former world champion Tevin Farmer in a featured lightweight clash on the Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. undercard at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The 21-year-old Schofield is eager to prove he belongs at the top level. “Sharing the ring with a former world champ is a huge opportunity for me to silence those who doubt me,” he said. Farmer, however, isn’t buying the hype: “He’s about to learn my skills are different. I’m knocking him out to teach him a lesson.”
While Schofield enters as the betting favorite, Farmer’s experience is not to be underestimated. Despite recent losses, he’s gone the distance in close contests with Raymond Muratalla and twice against William Zepeda.

The undercard is shaping up with more competitive action, including Avious Griffin vs. Julian Rodriguez and Raul Curiel vs. Victor Ezequiel Rodriguez, both 10-round welterweight bouts. On the women’s side, Naomy Valle takes on Ashley Felix in a junior flyweight six-rounder.
These support a stacked card headlined by Paul-Chavez Jr., Gilberto Ramirez vs. Yuniel Dorticos for the WBO cruiserweight title, and Holly Holm’s return against Yolanda Guadalupe Vega Ochoa. The event will stream live on DAZN Pay-Per-View.
