Floyd Mayweather has discussed two possible comeback fights, but notably avoided addressing a potential rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
During a lengthy interview with Cam’ron on It Is What It Is, Mayweather was asked about Mike Tyson, Pacquiao and a proposed exhibition against Mike Zambidis. His first answer was cautious: “Time will tell. I just want to make sure they got they numbers right.”
Mayweather then acknowledged Tyson and Zambidis, saying he had posted about both fights before later deleting the posts. “I posted the Tyson fight, and I posted the little guy, I think the other guy, his name is Mike also, from over in Greece,” he said.
The Tyson fight remains part of the wider discussion around Mayweather’s comeback plans, while the Zambidis exhibition is now proceeding despite a legal dispute.
Pacquiao, however, was the one name Mayweather did not address. The Filipino legend has his own legal case surrounding the proposed rematch and maintains that he agreed to a fully sanctioned professional fight.
