Filip Hrgovic says he plans to stop Moses Itauma before pursuing a rematch with Daniel Dubois.

Hrgovic will face Itauma for the vacant IBF heavyweight title next weekend. The Croatian has won three straight fights since suffering his first professional defeat against Dubois in 2024.

“I am going to stop Moses and stop that hype,” Hrgovic said. “Then, I will fight Dubois for [WBO] world title.”

The 34-year-old has rebuilt with victories over Joe Joyce, David Adeleye and Dave Allen, and will now face another British heavyweight in Itauma.

However, Frank Sanchez is expected to have a strong claim on the winner after agreeing to step aside so the vacant IBF title could be contested in the Itauma-Hrgovic fight.

Dubois, meanwhile, is expected to rematch WBO champion Fabio Wardley, with October 17 in Manchester reportedly under consideration.
