With Hurricane Milton heading toward Florida, ProBox TV has postponed its October 9 event near Tampa to October 16. The decision comes as winds exceeding 110 mph are expected to hit the region, causing safety concerns for all involved. The event will still take place at the original venue, pending Florida Commission approval.

The main event remains a highly competitive 10-round lightweight clash between Chris Colbert (17-2, 6 KOs) and Omar Salcido (19-1, 13 KOs). Both fighters will have to adjust their training schedules as they prepare for the rescheduled bout. Colbert looks to bounce back after his recent losses, while Salcido aims to solidify his position as a top contender.

The card will also feature unbeaten junior lightweight Tsendbaatar Erdenbat (10-0, 5 KOs) taking on Frency Fortunato Saya (15-1, 11 KOs) in a 10-round battle. Additionally, light heavyweight prospect Najee Lopez (11-0, 8 KOs) will face Anthony Hernandez (7-3-1, 5 KOs) in an eight-round matchup.

"Hurricane Milton is heading straight for Tampa and the west coast of Florida," said ProBox TV CEO Garry Jonas. "So, in abundance of caution, we have postponed our October 9 show and are pushing it to Wednesday, October 16."

Fans can still catch all the action live on YouTube as well as ProBox TV on the rescheduled date.
