Errol Spence Jr. is set to make his long-awaited return to the ring on July 25, facing Tim Tszyu in Australia in a major pay-per-view event.

The bout marks Spence’s first fight in nearly three years, following his stoppage loss to Terence Crawford in July 2023. Now 36, the former unified welterweight champion will look to re-establish himself in a competitive division.

Tszyu, a former 154-pound titleholder, enters the fight with more recent activity, having fought seven times since Spence’s last appearance. However, his form has been mixed, with three defeats in that stretch, including two by knockout. In preparation for this opportunity, Tszyu has also made a significant change to his team, recently appointing Jeff Fenech as his new trainer.
