In Metepec, Mexico, another thrilling fight unfolded between former world champion Luis Nery (35-1, 27 KOs) and the resilient former world title challenger Froilan Saludar (33-7-1, 23 KOs). Nery, following three successive wins after his shocking loss to WBA king Brandon Figueroa in 2021, clashed with Saludar, a seasoned professional who had previously challenged for the WBO flyweight title in 2018.
